Can you get me something I'd like to call... a sandwich?"

Posted by nfpvic at 09:20 PM on April 5, 2005.

Oh man, I have been so lazy. No, dude, seriously, SLOTHFUL. XD Too indolent to even polish my spectacles, and so it's pretty irritating to look at the computer screen right now, through all the smudge.

Life's been swell thus far! With the exception of Calculus :/ Exam this Thursday, BLAST it all! :O It's review, but nonetheless. I'm terrified. :F OH shit, I still have four chapters left to read for english by tomorrow. BLAST!

Let's see, what else is going on... OMG, I saw 42nd street last Friday, and it was SO GOOD! I loved the singing, and also the tapping. Everyone in it was amazing and positively adorable. ESPECIALLY-- no, won't go there. XD Most people know my answer(s) anyhow.

I only had two complaints about the experience: 1) my camera's damn batteries ran out of power like, 3 seconds before I was about to take a secretive picture of a very attractive male; and 2) our freaking seat got moved from pretty good to EXCEEDINGLY crappy (quite near the last row -_-;; ) Oh, and also, near these whorish preppy girls who would sing along poorly to the few lyrics they knew. Luckily they left early, so it doesn't constitute as a complaint. Otherwise, I got a great show, watched it with great people (kat and breezer and hamtara!), got hugs at the end from multiple mormon boys (XD) and also girls (but not of the mormon religion), AND I got a free cookie and free soda from the band room. Oh yeah! And I saw Chris do the leprechaun thing where you jump and click your heels together. Coolest. Thing. Ever.

My weekend? Shoot, I did nothing. I can't think of anything that I did, productive-wise that is.

So then today. Ugh, I completely forgot that I had to teach piano today -_-;; so my student came, and I'm all still gross from track, hadn't eaten at all, and I needed to spend an hour coaxing this girl to read the f-ing music. *dies*

By the way, we did the ladder in track. As in, 700-600-500-400-300-200-400-200 sprint intervals with 2 minute jogging rest in between. Hell. Oh well, 'tis the life of track!

Worse than the physical pains of the sport though, track practice really impedes upon my ability to communicate at anytime during the evening (or during the practice, for that matter). Plus, in the morning, I can barely string a sentence together due to it being the morning, and thusly sucking by default. I think that means that lately, there have been only about 3 hours out of the entire day in which I actually make sense when I open my mouth. Excellent.

Okay, procrastination time has ended. Well, I'm off to go panic now! XD

Oh, y'alls.

Posted by nfpvic at 09:26 PM on April 7, 2005.

Oh you guys! I hope this isn't too much of a downer, but my last post was not about a romantical interest of mine at all ^_^;; Much different, actually. It's about the downfall of one of my mortal enemies. XD

See, there's this girl whom I utterly loathe who quite obviously likes this guy I'm friends with, and for a little while I was afraid of him going out with her. That is, I was afraid not so much because I think he'd be corrupted by her evil (as I'm not too close of friends w/ him), but more because I don't want her to feel any bit of joy or pride or happiness. Ever. :D But, praise be to Jesus! Ever since a few days ago, the word on the street is that he just got a girlfriend, and this girlfriend ISN'T that bitch! And THUS, I am elated!

And sorry, I'm choosing to omit names because it seems like everyone at curtis has an LJ (and some have tabulas), and I'm paranoid and chicken. Ahh, delicious chicken.

But, dang it Kat, I WISH I had been talking about a freaking sexy tap-dancing male whom I love. God, he's so hot. XD Hrm, think he's "Pay another 6-8 bucks to see him tap-dance again" hot? This time, with a camera that has fully charged batteries?? Alas! if only I weren't so cheap -_-;; (btw auna, if I do choose to go and take pictures, I will totally show you who he is! ^^)

Oh man, tomorrow shall be nerdiness galore! In Math, we're now going to start pioneering in the world of Calculus (this last week was just a bunch of pre-cal review). After school, I'll be interviewing random people at the library about the new email system. Then after that, I (and hopefully kat) will go buy the coach's gift for Knowledge Bowl. Afterwhich, math team meeting. AND THEN! Practically straight after that, Knowledge Bowl banquet (with PUTPUT!!).

I don't think it could be any more loser. XD
...Well, I guess I could be going to a certain convention this weekend... (XD!! J/K!! SORRY MEG! that was such a cheap-shot. and you know I said it just because I'm jealous :O)

Buffalo: "Shoot dang, my head's in the ground!"

Posted by nfpvic at 09:32 PM on April 11, 2005.

WEIRD day today! Shoot dang. The fire alarm was set off in the main building at Pierce because someone left a bag of popcorn in a microwave, so my and Kat's 9:00 English class started 25 minutes late.

Me and Kat got there on time, however, and while we waited, we were being SO RETARDED XD We're reading The Good Earth in class right now, but we've decided that it's not that good, so we're going to start revising and illustrating it. Kat's version's going to be "The 'Could Have Been Better' Earth Version Two: Injun/Ebonic Speak." And mine? "Good Earth from Jesus Book Club: Version Chinaman." XDDD For some reason, this was (and IS!) SO hilarious; we were dying!

There were about three to five other people in the classroom at the time (including 210 Tonay) and they were deader than dead silent. They probably heard every word we said, and they probably think we're psychotic. Or deeply, deeply racist. XD (which we're not!! it's just if you hear only a snippet of what we're saying out of context and especially without knowing our background with "multiculturalism" (i.e. MLI), you may get the wrong impression :x)

Oh well, enough prattling on for tonight. PICTURE TIME!

Watches, campaigns, and puke

Posted by nfpvic at 01:13 PM on April 12, 2005.

Watch: beep-beep, beep-beep, beep-beep, beep-beep...
Me: Hmm, sounds like my watch. I'll go get it. *stands up, starts walking toward room*
Me (thinking): My watch is sounding pretty loud, eh?
Watch: *is on my wrist*
Me: *sees watch on wrist* Ahh yes.

---

Oh man, my brains are fried. Deep-fried. Roasted, if you will. I have no desire to do math of any sort. Alas! I'll wait 'til after I teach piano lessons x_x

So, Pierce College is holding elections for student government. I am so running. XD I have no idea what position I'm seeking, but I'm totally, completely running! I got the papers afterschool this morning, and I took a picture for all to see~ I ran it through photoshop before posting it:

(Vote for me. Why? I'll TELL you why)

Any better ideas for campaign slogans? Pray tell!

UGH, I feel disgusting. I just ate two slices of a crappily made pizza (I made it; I CANNOT cook)-- wanted to only eat one, but decided to eat two because it was so bad that I couldn't leave my poor dad stuck with 5/6 of a pizza to eat. Now I want to puke, and I think I may explode if I don't. Not tasty...

Oh, and BY the way.. it was a store-bought pizza too! HOW do you screw up a store-bought pizza? You cook it on broil instead of bake XD Okay, in my defense, I knew that pizza needed to be baked, but then I wanted french fries too (another by-the-way, I ate a serving of fries as I waited for my pizza to finish burning, adding to my stomach-explosion), and the fries needed to be on broil, so I was like, "Oh well, broil it is!"

... college will be fun. XD

Lay off my math.

Posted by nfpvic at 07:17 PM on April 13, 2005.

BAH! I just remembered that tomorrow, I have track practice RIGHT after school. BAAAAH. Haven't ran at all this week :x whoops! ^^; Well, in a way, I need the exercise ._. I feel pretty disgusting after five days of excess eating coupled with little-to-no movement.

Today was such a frustrating day. I think that I have a curse where the individuals with whom I'd like to befriend either a) think I'm a loser or b) think I'm evil and insane, and the individuals whom I completely and exhaustively hate seem to think that we're BEST FRIENDS. *#%@! LIKE A-hole in meg's english class was refering to me as his "friend from pierce," and then you-know-whoM was all like, "oooohhh you're still my close friend!" and then MOST recently, this dude in my math class!! DAGNAB! He is so beyond creepy; think Palminator level. I can easily imagine him being friends with Palminator. And he freaking acts we're like best buddies or something -_-;;

( Relatively Lengthy MATH RANT)

But as bad as he is, at least he's not Luis-level creepy. o_o;

OMG, and it turns out that he's from lakes. I SHOULD ASK HIM ABOUT THE LAKES BOYS. Maybe I will tomorra! XD

Crap. Now I hate math homework to complete.

Nerdier by the day

Posted by nfpvic at 09:27 PM on April 14, 2005.

MAN! I know I keep on reiterating the same thing, but I am getting to be such a loser XD

Okay, so I was just snooping around various LJs, looking at pretty icons, and I saw this LOTR one (here) that said "bound / FRODO BAGGINS // bound by a ring." After reading that, do you know what I IMMEDIATELY thought?
My Brain: "Oh, he's bounded! Like how the limits of functions need to be bounded to use the squeeze theorem in calculus! -- ... holy crap, did I actually just think that?"

THEN, when I was talking on the phone to Sharon in order to get in touch with Dan Russ for an interview (to write an article in the Pioneer about student email addresses), I was doodling with a sharpie on this notepad thing, taking numbers and getting names and etcetera. I just looked at this again, and I realized that I DOODLED A RIGHT TRIANGLE WITHOUT EVEN REALIZING IT.

(NO JOKE, a right triangle. OMG.)

I'm so ashamed.

OR... kind of proud.

Oooh! On a different note, my mom's bad students bought her bread to make my mom like them, and it was so delicious. It's from that bou...lingerie.. place (I know that it's not 'lingerie,' but it's some weird frenchie word. kat, help!). YOU know, that new korean bakery cafe that I always pass on the way to caro's teriyaki? Yeah. It seems so awesome. I needsta go there. With buddies. AND my camera! :D

No school tomorrow; I get to sleep in!! So I shall. Good night!

Crazy spacemen

Posted by nfpvic at 09:45 PM on April 16, 2005.

Not so good of a day today. Family problems. :/

But it started out alright at least! I skipped track (third day in a row o__o; ) because I had to get a cavity filled. YES! Actually, it wasn't too bad. It was such a small cavity that they didn't even numb me. I was pretty nervous at first to go w/o numbness, especially after they said, "Well, it'll feel a little cold and it might hurt just a little bit," but it didn't hurt at all. It wasn't even cold! So that was awesome and it only took about 15 minutes. What sucks is that this marks the 6th or 7th filling in my mouth from cavities (yes, so many that I lost count). Drag.

I forgot to mention: on thursday I went Goodwill shopping after school with my mom. She bought me two sweaters and sweats, each for 4-7 dollars each :D One of the sweaters is from abercrombie, and unfortunately I can't tell whether or not it's cute or whorish. I'll need kat to examine it for me. (don't worry, I know for sure that it's not nearly as bad as Fat Chick's apparel)

And why kat, in particular? Because she is GORGEOUS. :O Just look at her My Space picture! Shoot-freaking-dang. seriously! XD

Speaking of My Space, I have to ask: am I the only one who thinks My Space is exhaustively retarded? [NERD RANT WARNING] The name alone makes me kinda wanna barf whenever I say it ("my... space.. "), and as for the actual community... what the hell's the point? I see pictures of people and comments. Oh, and there is a very inconvenient form of blogging. On top of that, it's ass-ugly (that is, an ugly ass ugly, not a pretty ass) and it's designed so that it'll always be ass-ugly no matter how much or how little one may customize it. And oh god, do some people like to customize it -_-;; Worse than xanga even when it comes to browser-crashability. Shoot. [/NERD RANT]

But, whatever! :B Have fun, my spacemen.

Ahh, I'm hungry, as always. I'm going to go to sleep so I can eat breakfast!

PS: JIMBLY'S BACK!!! WELCOME BACK JIMBLY!! :D I do hope the disney world trip was sumptuous indeed. We'll discuss it all verrry thoroughly later. Possibly tomorrow? :D?

We, Korean Network

Posted by nfpvic at 09:15 PM on April 17, 2005.

AAHHH I'm freaking out.. this site is so awesome:

www.teenkorean.com

It's a site for english-speaking teens who want to learn korean :O teens like ME! XD I know there are a lot (relatively speaking) of websites for learning korean, but this site is the best I've seen for free. It's so interactive! They have lots of lessons and cartoons and pen pals and EDUTAINMENT and things, and everything feel sooo korean XD MOST of all, there are those cute pixel avatars! in ENGLISH! :O

This is what I want to look like (on the site AND in real life, with that huuuge choco bar :D):

This is what I look like now (but not in real life ^^; ):

Man, this site is great. Sure the english isn't perfect, but that adds to the charm. Take its tagline, for instance: "We hope you can enjoy our program pretty much."

Oh yes, I believe I will. :D

Working hard, or hardly working? (god I hate that question XD)

Posted by nfpvic at 08:17 PM on April 20, 2005.

(NERD TALK (national merit))

Crap, after that, all I have left to say is more nerdliness! XP

[break=MORE LOSERNESS (school)]Ugh, I'm so nervous about so many things right now. I got my confirmation for the May SATs. I almost want to pay that $19 to change the test date to June. But then I'd be taking the SATs riiight before finals week :/ doesn't seem too smart to me. Also nervous about tomorrow's English quiz, and the English paper that's going to be due next week Friday. And THEN, I'm super-nervous about Calculus in general o__o; There's a test next week, and I'm almost positive that a pop quiz is coming tomorrow or Friday. ewrwdsf.

The only class I'm not worried about is History. Though I should be studying more, dammit. Oh well -_-;

And then there's the elections for Vice President. I have Betty Crocker sugar cookie mix, white frosting, and that red... frosting/gel stuff that you can use to write on cookies! I'll bake those and start passing them out maybe a week or two before the elections *nodnod* Tomorrow or Friday or this weekend, I think I'll boogie on over to Kat's house to make posters and-- OH CRAP!! State competition for the Math Team Project is on Saturday. DAMN THAT TO HELL! NoooOOoooooooooo T__T But I need to go because of freaking college... *sigh*[/break]

Now I need to finish Calc homework. As usual.
can't wait 'til summer -_-;

Weekend o' Math

Posted by nfpvic at 07:09 PM on April 24, 2005.

In preparation for tomorrow's calc exam 2, I just did 6 hours worth of differentiation. Well, maybe not that drastic. I did about an hour of limits, so I just did one hour of limits and five hours of differentiation. Either way, much too much calculus. By the way, I ABSOLUTELY LOATHE RADICALS. Tests too.

My back hurts so much -_-;

This weekend has been all math. State math competition on Saturday in Yakima. OMG, for the team project, we got 5th place... out of five teams total. It appears that Math Team is the new Track, if you get what I mean XD except way more lame, way more males, way more creepiness, and way more losers. Plus a lot more math, which makes sense.

But I had a lot of fun during the non-competing elements of the trip, including the 3-hour bus rides there and back (no sarcasm either! we had some good times.. except I always had to pee whenever we were like, one hour away from the next rest stop -_-; ). Thank GOD Scott was there; no seriously, I would have literally died otherwise. Oh, and Scott did extremely well! He was the top-scoring junior on the individual topical competition in state (after the first three places for all grade levels). Scored higher than most people did while working in teams of three. Shoot freaking dang. :O

The night before the competition, I went to CARO'S TERIYAKI with kat and jimbly, which was EXCELLENT, but as a result, I got about 3-4 hours of sleep, waking up each hour, and since the bus was leaving at 5:45 am, I was up and not sleeping by 4 in the morning. Due to adrenaline and caffeine, I was pretty energized for most of the trip, but on the way back, my brain was DEAD. I looked in the mirror during one of the rest stops an hour away from home and I looked like a zombie.

So after we arrived at curtis (an hour late, of course), I drove home, ate a granola bar, floated around for a few minutes, and then slept from about 7:30 pm to 7 am the next morning. Didn't brush teeth or wash up; just slept (and my skin rewarded me this morning with three fresh new pimples). It was blissful.

But who cares about math? What we really care about is pictures, a few of which I'm about to post in a few minutes. Pretty coo.

MATH PICTURES!

Posted by nfpvic at 08:05 PM on April 24, 2005.

I have a few pics to share! Actually, I have MUCH more than these that I need to upload, and much better ones at that, but my camera tweaked out in the middle of uploading and I'm going to bed early, so this is going to be brief, pretty crappy, and VERY random.

Melissa, there are some great ones of Scott that you may want to steal! :P

(pictuuuures! well, a few )

Vice President, Poster 1

Posted by nfpvic at 07:48 PM on April 27, 2005.

As some of you should know and fewer of you should remember, I'm running for Vice President in the Pierce student government. We had our mugshots today for the newspaper... outside by a tree. Mine looks SO RETARDED T__T; but that's okay; it fits in with my campaign theme XD

By the way, I have competition now XOO Now, there's this popular guy who's running for VP (as well as this other girl, but I haven't seen her around, so meh) :/ he's in student government already as Outreach Senator, and now he's trying to move up in ranks. BAH. Well, if I lose at Pierce, I'm -totally- running for Vice Pres at Curtis, even though it wouldn't make sense and I have even LESS of a chance of winning there than here XDD

Anyhow, I just finished my first campaign poster. Take a look.

(ooh lala, campaign poster)

It's freaking awesome. And like I said, if I lose at Pierce, I'll just use the same posters to run at Curtis. :D

OOH crap, I have lots and lots of homework yet to finish. Byebye!
