tomorrow is 13 days long

Posted by nfpvic at 03:34 PM on June 4, 2004.

WHOOAA! Haven't been here in a while! Sorry tabu.. I've been busy like crazy, and I still have much much MUCH left to do.. I may not post again for a while, maybe until school is out :O

Anyway, I had the band Canada trip last memorial weekend.. it was awesome :D Trip via Bullet Form
- Abi = beloved bus buddy!! omg the bus was so funny.. especially the back of the bus XD it was insane! lots of homosexual tendencies and stripping :X
- Bus driver got lost on literally every outing except for one
- Canadians love Asia/Asians (WHOO 100 yen store!)
- Food (at least the stuff me and Abi had) was wonderful (I love The Phfil XDXD)
- Forgot that I had grapes crossing the border from Canada to USA.. so Rusty and Adam ate them
- Roomed with Becca, Ali, and Holly and had a blast with them
- Hung out with Holly a lot!
- Holly loves Mike *wink*
- Got to meet/talk w/ Heejung, Ian C-B, and Marissa.. sucks that Heejung's leaving!! *cries* she's soo sweet! but Ian and Marissa are great too :D and they're juniors, meaning we have another year together!!
- Wandered around Gastown with Ali and Holly and stalked Chad, Andrew, Anthony, and Tim by accident (no, honestly by accident! we just happened to keep running into them)
- Got to know/bond with Mr. Rine a lot better.. wow, he's really a nice guy :D
- Talked to Dylan and Kyle during the formal dinner and dance; way more fun than the dance floor
- Still haven't fully unpacked *grins*

Now I need to go back to Canada and spend the 20 bucks Canadian that I didn't use!

So anyway, school's ending and I'm feeling pretty sad. There're a lot of people I'm going to really miss, and a lot of people I wish I could have gotten to know better before the end of the year. Still, there are just as many people that I do know or I have the chance to know in the years to come.. plus I can still keep in touch with the seniors when they're gone! Like Brittney said.. it's not like they're dying, hehe.

And in a way school should just END! The workload is killing me... *collapses*

decision-making

Posted by nfpvic at 05:56 PM on June 7, 2004.

Today I've made a decision, one that I shall reveal tomorrow. It was a tough decision (a lot tougher than one might think), but it's definitely the best decision in my opinion. I need to thank my valentine (Ray!), Melissa (both~), Caro, and Meg for their support and input into my ponderings.. they always say it like it is and give awesome, levelheaded advice. I love you guys!

Tomorrow morning is gonna be crap though.. *dies*

'you'll have your free time.. but now it's slave labor time'

Posted by nfpvic at 04:11 PM on June 11, 2004.

Cross Country practice was really good today! Hehe we all carpooled to this park near Point Defiance (and noman's house) and we ran 2-3 miles in preparation to the Sound to Narrows tomorrow (which I'm not running). I rode in Nick's car with Nora and Matt C.. it was a nice ride :D We were following Mangrum, which was hilarious because he was speeding so bad XD

Today was alright. Ugh, today's honors english test was evilly bad.. EVILLY bad, at least I thought. The time limit sucked like crazy. Then next period, the rest of the jazz band found out about my needing to quit, so they were mad at me (but in a loving sort of way). It was basically do-nothing time, so we were just hanging out. It felt so empty without the seniors! OH but good god, a -certain someone- really sucks at piano, and it was really getting on my nerves because he plays it all the time and the piano at the band room is really loud XD; I shouldn't be so picky, but man! Crappy pianists are really a pet peeve of mine, hehe.. then in orchestra I revealed that I might have to quit, and Mr. W got pretty mad :O whoops.

Tonight's the seniors' graduation.. but I'm not going. I went last year for my own brother and it was about 2-3 hours of sitting and listening.. I was tempted to go with Heidi, but nah. I'd rather play RCT instead :D

Well, now I'm going to further procrastinate my english project! Ta~

[EDIT: Hey look, new livejournal layout!! :O!]

aaaaaaaaaahhhhh

Posted by nfpvic at 04:30 PM on June 15, 2004.

I finished my Honors English project yesterday and turned it in today.. I'm so mad! I actually did plan out my project and I didn't just start on it the day before it was due, but I had to stay up until 1:00 am to finish. It took forever to make, and the result isn't even that great. I fear my grade.. *sobs*

So today I was exhausted and skipped cross country :X Instead I went home and napped, as Caro suggested! It was great. Now that I'm awake and fed, I should really, really study for the bio final tomorrow.. although angie told me it was one of those famous mangrum tests where the questions are completely confusing and studying doesn't help because everything is analytical multiple choice and really, really evil. Crap.

..I think I'll play some piano then! :D

so much recycle!!

Posted by nfpvic at 08:36 PM on June 19, 2004.

Spent the entire day today cleaning my room~ voluntarily too. I just really needed to get rid of all the papers and crap.. I had stuff lying around from 6th grade! So now I'm just about done; I still have my closet to do and I want to get rid of my old clothes I never wear (and make room for more! :D). AND I really need to vacuum-- it was so dusty!

It was a little weird, throwing out my old stuff.. I felt strange parting with some things. Like, I wasn't sad per se, but it wasn't a pleasant feeling. Hmm, it seems a bit premature for a 16-year-old to get nostalgia. Still, I kept on getting all sentimental over the most retarded things (like a note or a sock or a pen or a button). Then I'd remind myself that I never look at it anyway and it's just collecting dust, so I might as well chuck it. And then I would chuck it. Meh.

Anyway, I'm really tired now and I've got lots more to write.. next time, I suppose!

The Rundown!

Posted by nfpvic at 07:03 PM on June 21, 2004.

(Overview of the Last Few Days)

Today's News: Went to school. OMG it was the dumbest thing ever. We were stranded in the cafeteria and there weren't even the promised donuts or games! Luckily Caro and Jinny were there, so I went to talk with them. Jacob came to visit us too! (I was so happy since I don't know him too well, but he came and sat by me! :D he's such a nice guy) We were infested by Kari Ryan though. *shudders* I was like, 'please leave, please leave, please leave...' Oh god, and then there were these guys playing guitar that completely, completely sucked. Part of Teja's circle of friends (uuugh barf). Jinny and Caro both were practically dying. Jacob was like, "We should just go up and say, 'This devil music is against my religion, would you please turn it off?'" XD

Later Abi and Meg joined us and we all played some volleyball, soccer, and baseball with the princess beach ball. Completely fun. Me, Jinny, and Jacob rocked the court! :D I felt kinda bad though.. Jacob seemed a little uncomfortable :/ I need to get to know him better so we can get along more easily among each other's friends!

Then me and Caro left to Burger King, then bowling for Jinny's B-Day! Bowling was SO FUN!!! I had a blast.. even though I kept injuring myself with the bowling ball, and even though Caro and Jinny had scores that both doubled mine, hehe. Sadly Caro had to leave early, but we got to play a couple of games.. next time we'll have to ddr together! After Caro left, me and Jinny played air hockey on a really crappy table. I won though :P Then we walked to Dairy Queen.. I enjoyed my overpriced chocolate soft serve ice cream, but Jinny learned the hard way that their coffee drinks are disgusting :/ poor Jinny! I felt bad since it was her birthday and all and she should have gotten a better treat in lieu of cake..

After that, my mom told me that I could stay at Jinny's for much longer than we previously thought, so I went over and had pizza for dinner! We talked lots and lots and listened to Caro's CDs and it was awesome :D Oh, and because it was bugging me, I removed the spyware from Jinny's laptop and updated her drivers XD Went home at 6:00ish with straightened hair, hehe.

Aaahh~~ it was such a good day! And now I shall DDR (waah I'm soo rusty!)

AFTER picture!

You have just witnessed the transformation of the Washington State's Freedom's Answer webpage, designed by me, of course :D Compare it to the other states' webpages.. and bow down. XD This is what I did instead of study for my written driver's test that'll be tomorrow. YEAH! [/end nerdly boasting]

WHOO I'm almost there!

Posted by nfpvic at 10:06 AM on June 24, 2004.

I took my written test today for my driver's license... I got 100%! :D It was pretty easy, but like Jinny said, you -should- read the driver's guide for some of the questions, and if anything, you should read it just for confidence's sake. I take my actual driving test next week Friday, July 2nd.. exciting! :P I actually -am- excited. I want my license sooo badly! It'll make my life loads easier, loooads. No more waiting for my parents to give me a ride.. we might get a 4th car, which sounds cool at first, but when you really think about it, it's crazy. Three is crazy enough, four would be insane. I'll somehow have to figure out how to share with my bro this summer *dies* And that's if I pass my driver's test, hehe.

Today I have to do a lot of scheduling and planning for my summer. I have a lot that I want to accomplish, so I got to figure out a plan. It'll be fun! ..or stressful.. but I'm hoping for fun :D

away notice

Posted by nfpvic at 11:43 AM on June 28, 2004.

Due to a family emergency, I am now in South Korea (on my uncle's computer at 5:44 in the morning to be exact). Not sure when I'll be back; hopefully Sunday the 4th or Monday the 5th. Just thought I'd give the head's up.

is anyone online at 4:37 am?

Posted by nfpvic at 02:51 AM on June 30, 2004.

4:37 am in WA, 8:35 pm in S. Korea. Crazy world. Anyhow, this trip has been alright so far.. well right now it's a bit scary because this couple outside are completely screaming at each other o_O; I'm staying at my uncle and his family's apartment, and I just can't get comfortable here. My aunt's apartment is freakier too (since she permanently lives in the USA right now and is only in the apartment temporarily).. in the complete ghettos :P

Here there are lots of mosquitoes and the weather is poo. It's cloudy but muggy and sticky. My one mosquito bite (so far) is on my left wrist and it itches like @%$#. My family is kind to me and my mom despite the circumstances. My 4 y/o cousin Chaerin is cute but often in the annoying sort of way. The subway makes me sleepy but I'm too afraid to sleep lest I miss my stop. I don't get how others can sleep and not miss their stop. For some reason, I have no trouble sleeping at home on the floor. Unless someone is snoring, like my grandma. I just can't get used to the bathrooms being a room in which you bathe; there is no separate shower/bath. For some reason it feels dirty. McDonald's ice cream tastes better here but the chicken burgers taste like lots of mayo. Bananas are small but cheap.

And no one is online at 4:37 am.

PS: is it just this comp, or has livejournal been offline for the last few days? :/
