WAAH!! Today was Crazy Hat Day in track.. and Travis won!! (with the hat I made for him! :D!!) It was so hilarious when I first saw him try it on.. I could not stop laughing! He just looked so FUNNY XD I swear, we were both cracking up for like 15 minutes~ it was great. He was blushing so bad! XD He thought the one he made for me was embarassing.. not compared to his! Muahaha.

BTW, for a visual effect: I made his hat out of a brown grocery bag and I folded the ends to make it look like a lopsided tophat. Then I made a tissue paper flower with a toilet paper train thing and red ribbon XD It was like a hobo-ish pimp hat. Classic. *grins* I need to get some pictures...!!

So anyway, all the people who chose to participate had to line up in front of the entire track team w/ their hats on, then we had to take a picture.. It was so embarassing, but since I had a friend w/ me it wasn't too bad.

I was so mad though; I was totally going to make Heather a hat during German, but I completely forgot ;O so she got off without the humiliation. I'll get her later though! *shakes fist*

I have a project to do over spring break for Intro to Business: I need to invent and physically create a fictional product that costs at most $5 to make. It can be anything that can be sold...

And so, I'm thinking about making some sort of food.

Not just any food though; I want to make healthy, yet good tasting food. Or just some sort of healthy food that tastes good, yet leaves you full so you don't just stuff your face. I'm thinking of making some modification on a recipe I know... hmm.. how am I gonna do this..

Ahh yes, I've been making a new layout again, slaving hours over the comp trying to make this look right.. but surprisingly, it's not Photoshop that I'm spending so much time on :O! The new layout is tableless using css and div!

Today I went shopping with my mom for clothes at the PX. Got some pants and shirts, and tomorrow I (hopefully?) get to go to the mall to shop for a jacket. *heartattack* Being a poor army kid who's grown up on goodwill, I never, EVER get to shop at the mall for clothes.. I'm excited! :D

Finished my new layout! Holy crap, it took so long *falls* I'm really, really bad at designing with mainly text (as opposed to images), and this layout was, well, mainly text and formatting. I think it was worth it though; in my opinion, well-made css layouts look a lot cleaner than image-heavy websites, no matter how nice the images are. Ironically, my layout looks kinda messy, hehe. I think I'll be able to live with this for a while though! (at least 'til the end of spring :D)

omg. I just spent 7 and a half hours at Laura and Robbie's house writing up the entire paper for Math Team Project: five pages single-spaced of writing, 5+ pages of diagrams, charts, and tables. I'm sooo tired and it's not perfect by any means but it's freakin' done! And I can now go to the state competition feeling that I actually contributed a good part to the team's work.. unlike certain members of our team.. :/

Now we need to make the display and plan the presentation.. aka give someone else the display board duty and let me handle the presenting :P All due April 17th~ waah... *dies*

Yesterday was an awesome day. Had a sleepover party with Monica and Jinny :D funfunfun! (Shall we go through our agreements..? hrmm...)

Unfortunately, I only slept about 3-4 hrs. last night due to (purposely) staying up 'til 2:30 am talking, then (not purposely) keeping awake until about 5:30 am thanks to the caffeine I had had earlier. Ack. I got to remember to abstain from Coke :/

Thus I was pretty tired and sick and stuff today. I went to the UP Library (saw Luis! XD) and got some poetry, but god crap it! The Dickinson anthology that I checked out was the stupid edited version where the editors screwed with her writing to make it more like a "traditional" poetry. *kicks it* (luckily I have this site. yes~)

So instead of that, I read and finished The Catcher in the Rye. Wow. That was a good decision :) Wonderful novel! I liked how it was written in brash, colloquial language, and yet it dealt with such intimate and deep subjects; its complexity was then held in its concepts rather than the vocabulary, so no time was wasted trying to decipher what the hell each paragraph was trying to say. It also had one of the most abrupt endings in any of the books I've ever read, but it was definitely finished. Salinger truly brings you into Holden's world, and at times you feel just as depressed and confused as he does. Awesome book; I loved it.

Craaaaaap I should practice for jazz band, do my honors bio project, and and complete my business thinger. *dies*

OMG! I had my first track meet ever yesterday and I ran the mile... and I got 2nd to last! :D!!!! I'm so freakin' happy.. granted, the 3rd to last girl was waay ahead of me and I got lapped by the first place person, but hell, I wasn't last. This will probably be the -only- meet where I'm not last, but at least there officially -was- an instant where I wasn't last! *rereads post so far* I don't think I'm quite making sense XD oh well. Plus, I got an 8:15 for a time, my best time ever~ though Mr. Mangrum says I should be able to run a 7:37 :/ we'll see Mr. Mangrum... it'll be my goal!

And so, today I'm skipping practice. Hehe. Gotta get ready for the state math team competition on Saturday! YEAH!

Sorry Tabu, I've neglected you for a week~ I've been a little busy, hehe. First: State Math Competition was on Saturday! So all Thursday and Friday was in preparation for that.. we got 3rd place for team project, which wasn't bad at all for, well, not really working too hard on the project. I presented it, and I think I did pretty well; we were the only group where the judges didn't have any questions! (when we asked if they had any questions, the fat guy said, "none that you haven't already answered" :D!) The entire trip was pretty fun, even though we -were- in Yakima. I got some Teddy Grahams at Albertson's w/ Monica :3 I LOVE that stuff! The bus rides were pretty fun too, except I hate Alex. Oh, and Steilacoom (sp?) students are very outgoing and nice and a bit pervy. That's all there is to say about that :P Actually, no, one more thing: I hate Alex *kills him* XD

This week in school has been WASL week, and these tests are taking me forever! I've gone 45-50 minutes past the "suggested" time for completion on all three tests so far, and we have eight total. Good thing is I think I'm doing pretty well. Bad thing is I think I'm thinking wrong. *shrugs* Oh, and we get cookies and bottled water every test day! The cookies are getting progressively better too.. today's sugar cookies were soo yummy..

Track has been okay lately. Tomorrow will suck though because it's a meet. Ick. I'm running the 800, two laps.. I swear, I think I'm gonna be lapped in the 800 T_T; I suck at running!! Hehe, Travis has been running with the distance people.. the distance girls to be exact XD It's weird though; I think 4 people asked me if we were going out o_O; Whoa, can't a girl have male friends anymore? Seriously!

Wow, it's not 10:00 yet I've done my math homework.

So, today we finished the Science part of the WASL. Thank GOD. I did so badly, I don't even want to think about it..so I won't :P We got good cookies again, but the aftertaste drives me crazy. I'm going to try not to eat any more of those things because I think it's really really working against my goal to lose weight :/ I think I'm about 5-7 pounds away from my goal, damn. I hope I've lost at least a little weight due to track... my body/clothes don't agree with me though T_T; I needsta find a scale..!

Well the track meet was great today~ Heather got 3 PRs!! :D!! I ran the 800 for the first time and I got last place by about.. 30-50 seconds XD BUT it was okay because I didn't get lapped. Sweet deal.
Oh, and I love the Long Distance team on track.. it was so sweet! During the 1600, Nick and Michael could have taken the lead from Noman on the last lap, but they both stayed right behind him and cheered him on ('come on noman, pick it up; we're right behind you!') while still running so that he could have the first place and get more points toward a varsity letter!! :O! I was like, AWWW!!! I felt so proud to be a distance runner XD That was so cute~ Damn, now if only people would do that for me.. but then there'd be like this wall of girls WALKING in order to go slow enough to stay behind me :P hehe.

Hmm, I got a letter for a Knowledge Bowl banquet thinger that's supposed to be at Teresa's house.. I really don't know if I want to go :/ I'll have to see who else is going... and see if we can bring guests/prospective members *grins*

Track was strange today, but ended surprisingly well. First off, it was pictures. Me and Heather were joking around about what we were going to be doing before the actual picture time, and we were talking about how Salzman would have us just run in a circle until everyone's picture was saying....And that's seriously what we did. XD we were like, "WTF?? did we call that or what?"

Ugh, after pictures, everyone got to go home early.. EXCEPT FOR DISTANCE RUNNERS! We (being the slow people) had to run to Cirque and back! (fast people ran muuch farther) So unfair!! Luuckily, Coach Mangrum ran with the guys... so... us slow peeps got a ride to Cirque from Ben! XD The six of us just crammed into his tiny car.. miraculously we weren't ticketed! It was so great. He let us off at a stop sign then U-turned outta there X3 Ahh the memories.. so we ran back to school from there which was still kinda hard because Kelsey was leading and Kelsey ain't slow by any means (she was just running w/ us because her ankle was bothering her a bit). But hell, a one way run back is much better than there and back! And mainly downhill too :D

I think I've been grumpy lately. ... Yes, I'm pretty sure I've been grumpy lately. So if I've grumped at you during the last couple weeks or so, please excuse me~ Actually, I still feel pretty crappy, so if I grump at you during the next few weeks or so, please excuse me as well!
